Path2 Recovery Center

Website Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 26, 2026

This policy explains how Path2 Recovery Center ("we" or "us") handles information on path2recoverycenter.com. It covers this website only. Records from your care at Path2 are protected separately, as described in section 6.

1. Information we collect

Information you choose to give us. The website has two forms, one to check your insurance benefits and one to send us a private message. You may enter your first name, a phone number or email address, the name of your insurance company, whether you are asking for yourself or someone else, and anything you choose to write in your message.

The forms do not send or store anything on this website. When you press send, your own email app opens with your answers filled in, and nothing reaches us unless you send that email. You can always call us instead.

Information collected automatically. Our web host keeps standard server logs, which can include your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit, and the date and time of your visit.

2. How we use information

  1. a.To answer your questions and talk with you about care at Path2 Recovery Center
  2. b.To check your insurance benefits, if you ask us to
  3. c.To keep the website working and secure
  4. d.To meet our legal obligations

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Cookies and tracking

This website does not use cookies, analytics tools, or advertising trackers, and it does not build a profile of you. Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. Because we do not track visitors across other websites, receiving that signal does not change how the site works.

4. Other companies that handle information

  1. a.Our web host stores the server logs described in section 1.
  2. b.The website's fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address and browser details when a page loads.
  3. c.If you ask us to check your benefits, we share the details you gave us with your insurance company.

We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect the safety of you or others, or if Path2 Recovery Center is ever merged with or sold to another organization, in which case this policy would still apply to what you sent us. We do not share it for any other reason without your permission.

5. How we protect information

The website uses a secure (https) connection. Email, however, is not a fully secure way to share health information, so please do not put your insurance member ID, Social Security number, or details about your health in a form or email. We will ask for anything we need over the phone. No website or email system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

6. Your treatment records

If you become a client, your treatment records are protected by federal confidentiality rules for substance use treatment (42 CFR Part 2), HIPAA, and California's Confidentiality of Medical Information Act. Those protections are explained in the privacy notice you receive when you are admitted. If that notice and this policy ever differ, the notice you receive at admission controls for your treatment records. See our confidentiality information and medical record security plan.

7. Your privacy choices

You can ask us what information you have sent us, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it. We will not treat you differently for making a request. Use the contact details in section 11.

8. Age

Path2 Recovery Center serves adults, and this website is meant for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Links to other websites

This website links to other sites, such as Google Maps for directions. This policy does not cover those sites.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
