Our programs

One stretch of road at a time.

Detox, then residential treatment, with your family and your plan for home built in along the way.

  1. A woman on the phone, one hand on her forehead, reaching out for help

    Day one

    The first call

A real person answers, day or night. We ask a few questions, check your insurance, and plan your arrival together, including travel if you need it.

  2. Two hands holding a warm cup of tea with lemon and mint

    First days

    Detox

    • Care around the clock
    • Medicine for withdrawal when you need it
    • Real meals, real sleep, quiet
    More about detox
  3. A bright living room with a high ceiling, two sofas, a fireplace and a window onto the garden

  4. A family standing together on a hilltop, watching the sun set over the mountains

    All the way through

    Family

With your permission, your family gets updates and sessions of their own. They have been carrying this too.

  5. A man with a backpack and suitcase stepping out the front door into the sunshine

    Before you leave

    The road home

We build your aftercare plan with you: outpatient care, meetings near home, and a person to call when it gets hard.

What we treat

Alcohol, drugs, and what comes with them.

Many people come to us with both. We treat them together, so one doesn't pull the other back.

Self-check

Not sure if it's time?

Four questions. About a minute. Private: nothing is saved or sent.

Have you ever felt you should cut down on your drinking or drug use?
Have people annoyed you by criticizing your drinking or drug use?
Have you ever felt bad or guilty about your drinking or drug use?
Have you ever had a drink or used drugs first thing in the morning to steady your nerves or get over a hangover?

Your next step

Call admissions

These are the CAGE-AID screening questions. They're a starting point, not a diagnosis.

FAQ

Questions people ask us.

Don't see yours? Ask us. There's no wrong question.

Call 818-488-1743
What programs do you offer?
Two, back to back: medically supervised detox, then residential treatment in a structured environment designed for healing. Before you leave, we set up your next level of care close to home.
How long will I stay?
Detox usually takes about a week. Residential care often lasts 30 to 90 days. You and your team set the length based on how you're doing, not a fixed number.
What does it cost? Do you take insurance?
Most people use insurance. We work with many insurance providers and are happy to check your benefits at no cost, so you can explore your options with peace of mind and without any pressure or obligation. If you don't have insurance, ask us about self-pay and payment options.
What is detox like? Is it safe?
Stopping alcohol or some drugs on your own can be dangerous. Here, detox is medically supervised from the first hour. Doctors and nurses check on you often and can give medicine to ease withdrawal. Most of detox is rest.
What kind of therapy do you use?
Approaches with strong research behind them, like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), along with one-on-one counseling, small groups, and skills for sleep, stress and cravings. If depression, anxiety or trauma are part of the picture, we treat those too.
Is my addiction too severe for your program?
Call and tell us what's going on. If our program is the right fit, we'll plan your arrival. If you need a higher level of medical care first, we'll help you find it. Either way, you won't hang up without a next step.
Will my job find out?
Not from us. Federal law (42 CFR Part 2) gives addiction treatment records extra privacy, and we share nothing without your written consent. You may also qualify for job-protected leave under the FMLA. Your HR team can tell you.
Can I have my phone? Can my family visit?
Phone and visiting rules are there to protect early recovery. Family is part of the plan, with visits and family sessions. Admissions will walk you through the details before you arrive.
What should I bring?
Comfortable clothes for about a week, your toiletries, and your prescriptions in their original bottles. Leave valuables at home. We'll send you a full list.
Is the first call really free?
Yes. Calling is free and confidential, and so is the insurance check. You don't have to give your name to ask questions, and you don't have to decide anything on the call.

The next step

The next step is a phone call.
